Our client is currently seeking an experienced Team Leader with Forklift experience to join their team based in Crestmead. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong warehouse operations experience and the ability to lead a team. Our client supplies metal framing, support systems and related products used across construction, electrical, and industrial projects throughout Australia. Their Crestmead site operates as a Queensland branch and distribution facility, supporting warehousing, dispatch and customer supply operations.

Hours will be Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise warehouse/store staff across daily operations

  • Allocate daily tasks and manage workflow to meet operational deadlines

  • Oversee picking, packing, dispatch, and receivables

  • Monitor team productivity and assist in meeting operational KPIs

  • Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time

  • Operate forklifts and coordinate stock movements throughout the warehouse

  • Train, onboard, and support new staff members

  • Maintain workplace safety standards, including toolbox talks and procedures

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and provide practical solutions during shifts

  • Liaise with transport, production, and management teams

  • Maintain warehouse organization, stock control, and inventory accuracy

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role

  • Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)

  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control

  • Ability to lead by example in a hands-on role

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to workplace safety and team performance
